Game cams

I basically use two types.. I like the Bushnell Trophy cams and use this exclusively set to video and place these on trails where there is limited visibility. I also use a Day 6 PlotWatcher and use this in open areas. The Day 6 comes with software that allows the still pics it takes to be watched like a video.

The bushnell has excellent battery life. My Day 6 is the first iteration and will kill 4 AA duracells in 4 days set on the highest setting (taking the most pics).

Re: your neighbor.. a cooler full of Samuel Adams, a bottle of Wlld Turkey and an impromptu get to know you better on a Saturday afternoon either on his back porch or invite him fishing could be much less costly and less stressful in the long run.

"Neighbor" doesn't live there. It's just his hunting land. He'll shoot a deer 100 yards on my property and drag it out. That's fine, I don't hunt. But when he comes to the house and yells at my wife because there were 4-wheeler tracks 10' on his side of the line..... Not happening

I use several Bushnell trophy cams and absolutely love them, they're 8 megapixels. I also have one primos truth cam 35 ultra that has been okay. It's picky about which SD cards it used.

The standard truth cam 35 (not the ultra) I believe runs on C batteries and a lot of people seem to be pretty happy with them. They're around $70 usually either at bass pro or on amazon. Guess it just depends how many you want to buy. Obviously this is something you get what you pay for but if you're looking to buy a good amount (10 or so) you might have to sacrifice some quality to save on your wallet.

During Hunting season, since you don't hunt. Just set up a campsite right on the line with a couple of really loud ass generators. Hook the generators up to a loud ass stereo system, and crank it up! If he ask why it's so loud just say you had to turn the radio up so you could hear it over the generators.

Have the Forestry Commission come in and and put in a perimeter break on your property. Then your kid will have a great riding path that is defined on your property, plus you'll have good access to ride the lines every Sat morning during deer season and shout a "Hey there!" to your neighbor while he's in the stand.

I wasn't aware they would do this. Hmmmm. I'll check it out. Cost?

$90/hr for the tractor time. In decent terrain I figure about 20ac per hour, that isn't exact but gives ya an idea on the cost. I've worked with the guys in the Jasper/Jones office alot, ask for Chris Buchanan, let him know I sent ya.

Thanks Nick, definitely something I'm saving for later.
