The wife's garage door track has been bent for some time now due to obvious reasons.
Today after she left, I heard a pop from the garage. Her door spring had broken, I'm assuming from premature wear from the twisted track.
The opener itself still functions and the other side of the track is straight- am I looking at replacing the full track and the spring? I of course will not be the one, too accident prone for that hefty of a spring.
What would be your move if you were not doing well financially? Bang on the bad track until it's mostly straight and have a pro install the new spring? Thanks!
