gemtech suppressor bcg or IA WAR upper

The LMT e bcg.

In the simplest terms, the third hole letting out more gas. It's not what it was originally intended for (overgassed), but it works well in most suppressed SBRs. Some people will also change out the buffer, but the standard has worked well for me in my 10.5" LMT.

Didnt think about that. When u run it in unsuppressed setting, does it help "clear or blow" out the carbon on the inside?
Don't really know. I usually keep it in the surpressed setting. I have ran it in the other mode a few rounds and the only thing that stuck out at me was the recoil impulse difference. Much more felt recoil when in unsurpressed mode.

Awesome! im not the sharpest tool in the shed but I understand what ur saying. Haha!

The simple terms are because that is all I have to offer. ;)

But what are you looking to accomplish here? My biggest issue is reducing gas, and I have not had cycling issues.

I like to start with the BCGs because it lets me keep my original configuration (either the A2 front sight or shave it), and then I add a Armageddon Tactical charging handle if the gas is still a smaller issue. I have not had to make any further adjustments like buffers.

But if I was starting from scratch and/or was not worried about the original config, then I would seriously consider an adjustable gas block or WAR upper.

That makes sense, a lot more gas entering the gun.

This is what im looking to accomplish. Building it without a lot of unnecessary "suppressor" parts since its from scratch. From the looks of things, WAR upper with a regular gas block and regular FA bcg.

If you have a carbine length gas system, id go war upper. They use a proprietary gas tube and unless theyve released one i dont know about its carbine only. Any other length gas system the Gemtech carrier will still do a pretty good job.
