while i appreciate your deal posting, everyone should be aware that freedom munitions make absolute **** ammo. i am aware they claim this is not manufactured by them, but i dont believe it for a second. there are many other options out there for well priced factory in factory packaging ammo that wont blow your rifle up right now.

Huge world wide defense contractor, American Company, been around since at least 1940's.
Anyone who has served in the military has in all probability fire some of their munitions, don't recall any specifically stamped with their name/logo but I wouldn't be scared of it.
Known more for larger munitions, 20mm, 30 mm,artillery rounds and such, they make weapons systems , vehicles ..all sorts of heavy stuff...

You are correct, Freedom Munitions definitely did not make this ammo, it's contract ammo made by General Dynamics. They sell other brands of ammo they don't make also, like Remington. PMC and PHP South African Surplus....etc. They've had this stuff for sale on their site for since about November of last year but other vendors have offered it too like MidwayUSA who had it for sale in March 2015 for $549/1000rds. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/85...s109-penetrator-full-metal-jacket-box-of-1000

The code does work it just won't work on carts that have $300 or more in them right now because of the free gift they automatically add to the cart. Make sure you have an empty cart and add 850 rounds and you'll see what I mean. Doesn't matter for this deal anyway now because they raised the base price on this to $350 for 1000rds so even with the 5% discount this would be $333.50/1000rds and the free shipping has ended. This was an easter weekend deal.
