Georgia Carry ?

Its like the NRA, they protect the same rights as Ga. Carry, and the NRA provides insurance, etc, etc, I am a member, but, hate all the associated "legislative" branches that always call wanting more money, I am retired and living on SS, I can't support everyone that wants more cash, sorry but any spare is for ammo.
I"m a Georgia Carry member. It is the one 2A organization that gets things done. The leadership is solid and familiar with the issues we all face. You may have seen the TV spots here and there.
If you want to preserve your 2A rights in GA this is the most effective organization and best $15 you can spend imho.
I am a Ga. Carry and an NRA member. I think Ga. Carry does a better job of writing better laws. The politicians still listen to the NRA and are at least slightly afraid of them.
GCO, GOA, NRA. For less than a hundred bucks you at least got someone on your side that can get the attention of a few political figures along the way. While none are perfect it is still better no effort at all.
When I have the time, I work the recruiting booths for Georgia Carry at gun shows and other events.
I've belonged to pro-gun rights groups in other states and I can tell you that of all of them, GCO has it's stuff together. The level of organization that exists in GCO is just amazing. And the dedication of it's members is something you don't normally see.
I think they're very relevant. When I'm pitching a membership to someone at the booth I generally say that;
1. NRA is for the National Gun Rights battle. GCO is for Georgia and we need it that way.
2. Every day, there is someone in the State Government who wants to screw with your rights. GCO has people who, on a volunteer basis, keep an eye on the people in government to make sure that they aren't trying to pass a law to infringe on your rights.
3. The money your membership provides to the organization goes towards things like - Suing a City or County government for putting "No Guns Allowed" signs and policies into action.
4. And then I explain all of the laws that GCO had a hand in repealing over the last 10 years that I've been associated with them.
They do good work. You should come out and sit with them at a booth and get to know them. They're going to be at the GON Show again this year and they've always got someone manning a booth at any of the gun shows.
They also have a kick ass convention in August. With guest speakers. (to be announced)

People get all bent out of shape when the NRA manage to stop bad state laws. It's actually pretty rare for the NRA to get involved at the state level simply due to resources. They are, as pointed out above, the NATIONAL Rifle Association.

Is it relevant ? You bet it is ! A lot of laws have been changed due to GCO. You as a carrier in GA have a lot more places you can carry because of GCO

Georgia Carry has a huge track record for success in Georgia. They are responsible for campus carry, carry in restaurants that serve alcohol, MARTA carry, and repealing the old public gathering law.
