At least there is one good thing about this discussion. People realize they are FREE to vote for whoever they want to for whatever reason that is most important to them. Too many sore losers when things don't go the way they wanted.

So....you're advocating people vote for Kemp in the primary because he didn't, could not have any personal influence with the Secretary of State and the position is now, after the fact stand on the law that says the legislature has/had purview? Is that what you're saying? Minimize his culpability all you want....vote for him. I will not. And I will encourage everyone here to vote against him in his primary this May 24. He did not do enough when he had the pulpit to do so.

I like when politicians don’t try to usurp authority and stick their noses in issues they have no business in. Actually one of the things I like most about Kemp. He keeps his mouth shut if it has nothing to do with him.


I like Trump but hate his personality. He already cost us two senate seats with his ego, if he costs us the governor’s mansion, I’ll vote for anyone who runs against him.

He likes to say America first, but clearly he doesn’t believe that. It’s Trump first and foremost. Luckily for us, he looks best when he does good things for the country.

well, TRUMP didn't campaign for permitless / constitutional carry in Georgia.
He didn't tell his supporters to invoke his name when they lobbied for the bill.
Trump stayed out of this and kept his mouth shut on the topic, as he has since he was a presidential wanna-be on the campaign trail in 2015/2016.
Had this been pitched as the Trump Gun Reform Law, it would have failed miserably.

Statewide elections are not bound by gerrymandered districts like the the voting is for your state house and senate representative or the US Congressman that represents the district you live in.

Democrats can win state wide elections that are not limited to a gerrymandered district. The voting for Govenor and US Senate seats are fair game not limited by geerymandered districts.
