Georgia exodus?

OK, I've seen several comments to this effect so let's see the poll results.

I was not born here. When I moved here over 30 years ago I said I'd be planted in the ground here. That is definitely no longer the plan. I love Georgia. But more and more I love what she was. Life is short (and getting shorter).

Things are changing everywhere....don't cut and run. Stand your ground against the flood.

NYT is encouraging people to come to GA, register to vote before the deadline, then vote Dem and leave.....if you go, don't allow a damn Dem to take your place.

If you DO go however.....make sure there is an epic breakup thread.

I chose tacos. I'm uncertain at this point, but looking hard at tenn, and Kentucky. Highly into conservative values in both.

Born and raised in Atlanta. Except for a small stint down in Florida, I've lived throughout the state. I'm gonna probably die here too. Just need to find a place a bit of a ways out from town now.

With the state whoring itself out to the movie and tech industry, the influx of people from liberal places and their influences are creeping in.

Couldn’t have said it any better!! Any true Georgian knows the movie and tech industry will be the end of our southern way of life!!! % them all!!

I’m pretty vested in staying here at this point. At 64 I can live in my rural abode and probably be dead before the worst comes to me. At the point in life where I can be the thorn they wish they could get rid of.
