Seems to me that TEXAS will be my next State Home!!!

GA born and raised, so I went with born here and will die here. That being said, I'll probably retire to either OK or FL and keep a cabin in GA, and come "home" when I think it's my time. Now with THAT being said... I'm not dying in a metro county. F that. If it's my time to go, it'll be in Union or Towns County, in a quiet little mountain town where I can go out in peace like my grandparents did.
I'll probably die here sooner than later but the people and things that tied me to this land or either gone or fading fast.

I voted "not finish up here" because I left in 2015. TN is a tax free state and almost completely RED (Shy of Memphis and Nashville).
I see the Wyoming comments - I hunt Wyoming every year last 6 years - it is beautiful but it is COLD and austere is a kind way of saying nothing to do. I am thinking northern AL or TN - but TN has Nashville and that may = Atlanta for dragging the state down.
