I was originally planning to retire out to AZ, but that state flipped incredibly fast. I'd really like to stay here in GA but we'll have to see how fast and how far down things go.

There is hope though... I had written FL off as a lost cause, but they seemed to have turned around politically. If push comes to shove, S. Carolina is a possibility, as is TN.

Some states have shown they're tired of liberal nonsense. Ga is still a conservative state, but with the big cities and their democratic base, not to mention using there clout to get voters like fat bottoms did by giving city employees a day off to go vote. And putting out ballots without asking. A person should request a absentee ballot, not sent out cause they can.

Yes it really is. One of my lifelong neighbors moved there 5 years ago and he hasn't looked back. He said he would never come back. I told him to keep a lookout for me. It is beautiful up there.

I too moved to East TN 5 years ago and haven’t looked back. In mid GA right now with family, but ready for my mountains and east TN!

Elections have consequences.

Im not paying taxes in a state supporting HIGHER taxes and more gov control.

I'll simply sell and move back to our Texas lake house full time.

Reap it...

Born in NY, spent most of my time growing up in NJ, lived a short time in PA and been down here for 20 years. If you take out the gun laws and high cost of living, NJ, at least the northwest corner I was in, is awesome.
But all in all, I prefer GA the best.

It sucks that metro Atlanta is ruining the entire state.

Truth. I was over by the PA border in NJ until 18YO. It is beautiful up there.
