Funny thing was there used to be a liquor store down on Broadway in Macon deep in the ghetto when I was a driving age teenager in 87/88. I used to drive my super ugly tan vinyl top 78 LeBaron down there every weekend to score my booze. I had my late grandfather's old Smith 38 snub under the arm rest. You couldn't tell me **** . I would walk right by the drunk bums out front and into the store. I put my case of Busch or PBR or whatever suitcase beer was on sale on the counter with a fifth of white label Beam (GAG!) and acted like I knew what I was doing.
To this day people say I have bad luck. But I tell them when you think about all the stupid **** I did and lived to tell about it then I feel like I can't be that unlucky.
I missed the Ripple in that reminiscence.
