Whats yalls number one wma, or quota hunt??
If you had unlimited points, and knew for a fact that whatever you put in for, you would get selected for said quota hunt, what would yall put in for, where would you go?

Next, if yall had unlimited points, and could choose a quota hunt, that would be awesome hunt for a father, and for a younger hunter (12 years old) that would be a memorable hunt, and hopefully get on some bucks of a lifetime.

Could be deer, aligator, dove ect.
What do yall like to do, and enjoy?

I've got points from two years previous, and this season i just put in for points. Being that my daughter will be here the beginning of November, ill be trying to do all my hunting, and trying to fill my freezers during archery season.

Ill have to look into them.
This year will be my first year using a compound, i can't wait to get out there this season!
Also have a black bear hunt planed, hopefully ill get my first georgia black bear this season.

Good luck to you as well!

They’re up and about. Had one slide through a couple nights ago and destroy 3 bird feeders and the shepherds hooks they were hanging on.

My favorite quota hunt is Ossabaw Island WMA. It’s also a great place to take a youth hunter (if they are down for tent camping)
They have a youth hunt but only the youth can shoot. Lots of deer and pigs there.

Island deer are way smaller than their mainland relatives, but they are rather unique to me. This one is my best yet.

That’s a great island buck. Don’t come much bigger!

He’s a yearling and will 100% be gone come the bow opener. Every. Single. Year.
Yep, can’t have anything nice.
I’ll be up your way before too long looking for a bear of my own.

Thanks! I found some hot scrapes puddled with piss, knew he’d be along soon.

I missed a toad of an island buck 2 years ago with my muzzleloader…..would’ve been my best by far.
Had these 2 on cam but never saw them.

I was talking to a buddy, who was telling me about that quota hunt.
I think next year we might put in for that hunt actually, and take our boys who are the same age (will be 12 next season).
I put in for points this year, for myself, and my son, as I have a daughter who will be here the beginning of November, so I obviously won't really have time to hunt much rifle season this year and will be focusing mainly on bow season.
