I had a trust generate in 2014 with www.georgianfa.com. I recently sent an email to them asking them to remove some excess trustees from my trust. I haven't heard anything back from GeorgiaNFA.com. I called the office number I had from a 2014 email and the lady said that Nate (I believe his name was) was out of office. I left word for a call back. I have had no replies to my email and no return phone calls.

My question is, is altering an existing trust something I can do, or do we have to go through an attorney? If we have to go through an attorney has anyone had any luck with GeorgiaNFA.com? I found it very odd that on their website there was no phone number or email contact listed. I had to go back through my old emails to gather that info.

Thanks

I think you can just make an amendment to the trust yourself but if you already got a lawyer involved i would I stick with letting them deal with it.

If your trust lawyer didn't set it up so you can easily add/remove co-trustees at will with an appointment, acceptance, and resignation set of docs they're idiots. I can add a co-trustee for a day if I'm taking someone with me to the range and need to go pee while they're shooting my toys. They sign both the acceptance and resignation docs, and it only takes my sig and date on the resignation doc to remove them.

Thanks for the info. I made a phone call to the office on Nov 25th. I was advised the person I needed to speak to was out of the office for the day and that he would return the phone call. I sent an email a Nov 26th. On Nov 30th I did have one reply on the email asking for further info. I quickly replied just a few minutes later on same date, but have heard nothing back. I just now (Dec 1st) sent a PM.
