Had a pretty nice 6 sniffing around about an hour ago. Not a care in the world except love apparently.

I went in to check on a food plot I have in front of a ladder stand late Tuesday afternoon. I was looking down the hill and there stood a 2 1/2 year old 8 point. Directly underneath my ladder. We stared at each other for several minutes until I got bored and moved. He took off. I hope he survives the season. I know some club members would drop him and he would be borderline according to club rules but he will be an excellent deer if he makes it another year.

WIth a full hour and a half of light yesterday a really nice 7 was in my backyard... just sniffing around... looking for love...
