My wife and I just started back into fitness. We've completed two full workout weeks at the gym so far. I should see decent results in the next couple of weeks. I really only need to lose 5-7 lbs though and hopefully replace that with muscle down the road. I'm trying to avoid cholesterol medication too. I'll post results up on here. I have a scale that measures bod fat %, muscle %, visceral fat, etc. I think I'll break that scale out to make more quantitative goals. Thanks for posting this up!
What gym are you working out at?
Congrats on the progress, and more importantly the will to begin a diet and exercise regimen. It's tough to start, and tough to get back into it after an injury. It takes a lot of will power in the beginning.
Thanks man. I have been stalled at 22lbs for 3 days now. Time to mix it up a bit I rekkin
If time is an issue, mix in some hill repeats. It's awful, not fun at all, but gives you a great workout in a short time for no $$.Thanks man. I have been stalled at 22lbs for 3 days now. Time to mix it up a bit I rekkin
The closer you get to your goal weight, the longer it takes to shed the excess fat. The human body was designed to retain fat for survival proposes. Unfortunately it hates burning fat. Try adding 5 extra minutes to your cardio vascular training each day. You can also look into lowering your carbohydrate intake and replacing it with more protien. Simple sugers have a tendency to want to stay as stored energy with in the body. Thanks man. I have been stalled at 22lbs for 3 days now. Time to mix it up a bit I rekkin
