GFL renewal

I've moved to another county (Carroll to Douglas) and my current GFL expires in a couple of months. Am I going to have to get re-fingerprinted and all that jazz? Also I have the old style license that is the cheap looking laminated old school one. I understand that now I have to get my photo taken correct?

Yes and they do other things there too.

Everything is done in the probate office on the 2nd floor of the courthouse on Hospital Dr, except for the fingerprints. IF they make you do them over the UPS store does it right next to the Kroger. Just make sure you bring proof of residency to the courthouse.

LUCKY. I moved from Bartow to Cobb, Cobb made me do the whole shebang over again, at full price. LAME...

I don't believe there's any 'renewal' shortcuts anymore. All applications go through the same process nowadays ?
