I don’t know the difference in mags but I’m sure they would be original to the gun based on everything else.

I had one that was an '86 vintage without box, and had 2 u notch mags. Some one traded me a firearm in the value neighborhood of $1000.

That should be August of 1987 or there about if only 2 letters and 3 numbers. There should be a date code on barrel Three different letters.
