Glock 17 gen 3 and gen 4

I cant figure out the differences in these two. Glock 17 gen 3 and gen 4

The gen 4s have the removable backstraps and thicker recoil springs. The new springs they say reduce recoil. Other then those 2 things.... nothing. I like gen 2 glocks better than the 3 or 4th gens. I hate the finger groves. Thats why ima HK man

Yeah , they had a few issues. I think they got them worked out now. This is why I dont buy anything when its brand spanking new... they tend to have problems. Glocks, Iphone 4s, toyotas

They also have ambi mag release. You can switch it to the other side, but then you can only use the new gen 4 mags. The recoil spring is doubled up simular to the subcompact glocks. Without a backstrap on it is a short frame SF gun so it has a smaller grip radius. I really enjoy the Gen 4 22 I have.
