I'm going to be purchasing some Glock 19 upgrades after Christmas but I'm already making a list. I do have a few questions.

1) Should I find a ORM Factory Threaded Barrel or a Lone wolf? I'm not sure if Lone wolf is up to par with Glocks quality or what. (Yes, I am going to eventually buy a can)
2) I'm assuming I'm going to need higher sights? Any recommendations? Is it worth even considering a red dot for a carry gun? I like the idea of them but unsure if it's worth it and modifying my slide.
3) What suppressor brands should I be looking at? I want something reasonably priced, easy to clean, and has good customer service. (A suppressor for a noob)

1) Depends on what other guns you'll be suppressing and what thread pattern they use. Personally I have a Glock and a Sig and I'll be adding an HK to the collection so all of their factory barrels are metric 13.5x1 LH threads. The Lone Wolf is 1/2x28.

2) I would get higher sights or you could "shoot through the can" which isn't going to be dead accurate. Glock has some suppressor sights as well as AmeriGlo IIRC. I wouldn't add a red dot to a carry gun unless you plan on carrying the gun with the suppressor. If you can afford a Trijicon RMR or other such optic PLUS milling out the slide you can afford a dedicated carry gun.

3) The AAC TiRant9 is hard to beat at $350. Before I applied for that can I was going to get the Silencerco Octane 9HD. That Octane is a sweet can but its like $550.

1. Lone wolf is fine IMO and it has standard thread pitch which is what generally comes with the can. Many people like metric threads since they use an o-ring that adds extra protection from unscrewing.

2. Ameriglo is my tall site of choice, but sighting through the can isn't that hard.

3. Good customer service and easy to clean?

Octane 9 or Octane 45. It has all stainless baffles which can be ultrasonic'd, dipped, tumbled, soda blasted, really any of the available cleaning methods. Silencerco has some of the best customer service.

Liberty Mystic X is nice and easy to clean, plus it can shoot a ton of calibers. Liberty has fantastic service and is located here in GA

Honestly if you are ready to pull the trigger, check out the deal that The Silencer Shop is running right now. A SilencerCo. Osprey that comes with a threaded barrel. Done.

If I take a Glock 17 to Smyrna, will the team install a 9mm Glock threaded barrel and tall Glock sights (for a price)?

I don't know if they have the tall sights but I know they will install the night sights for $54 which is the cost of the sights.

Interesting enough my new neighbor works at Glock but I haven't had a chance to talk to him, only his wife.
