Glock 21, gen. 2 cracked frame.

I am looking to get a Glock 21 gen 2 but it has a cracked frame. Will a Gen 3 frame work with the gen 2 slide?

If it's not been modified, I would have Glock review the weapon for factory repair or replacement. Just a passing thought...

I don't know if gen 2 frames are still in production at Glock. I have an email sent to them but haven't heard back in 10 days. I am now looking at other options.

What Dawn2Dusk said! Glock in Smryra is top notch. My FIL had a Gen 2 with a broken extractor. They replaced the extractor with a newer version & had to re-mill the slide 90 degrees vs 105 or 115 degrees (been a while). Guy there had to go to hospital. They held it. Fixed it the next day & overnighted it to him with signature confirmation at no charge. They are top notch on warranty service.

Gen 3 frame will work. If you can call them during buisness hours

Take it to the Glock facility at 6000 highlands parkway SE, Smyrna Ga, they will repair it. give them a call 770-432-1202. Most likely it will be free of charge.
