My experience is with Lone Wolf products. A quick change of the barrel, recoil spring and mag has yielded no problems at all.

I have the Storm lake 40 to 9 barrel for my 23 that's very accurate and I got a smokin deal on here in a trade .
But if I got another ,it would be the lonewolf barrel ,because Storm lake barrels are a bit pricey.
