I’ve noticed an issue with my gen4 glock26 not slide locking when using gen5 19 mags in it.
For some reason the follower doesn’t engage the slide lock enough to get a 100% positive slide lock. Sometimes it completely fails, others it barely locks it back, but when the mag is dropped, or any sort of force is applied to the handgun (like snapping it to sling the en]mpty mag out) the slide drops. This is not a thumb placement issue, I am not accidentally holding the slide lock lever down. Gen4 26 mags work 100%. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Are there slight geometry tweaks on the gen5 followers?
