I have to be honest. I suspected that we would see 50-100 failures today. After only seeing one hard primer, I will continue to patronize the pistol of Perfection.

im not a koolaid drinker by any means lol, i hate the little hump on the back of the bottom of the grip on glocks lol. but i respect their reliability and would take one in a heartbeat for a secondary nightstand gun for the right price. i wouldnt buy one for myself, but if the gf likes the grip, i wouldnt hesitate at all getting her one and knowing she was safe and protected with it.
i thought that as well for misfires when you said you were using atlanta arms lol. so far out of the years of buying various commercial .45 and 9mm (mainly), thats the only brand ive shot thats had a dud. primer was struck and pushed in (i know, weird it was pushed in right?). wish i woulda got a picture of it when it happened. only ever happened on 1 rd. i dont buy it anymore unless its a really good price. it happened in my FNX-45.
is the mag release reversible?
Yes.
I would take her to a range that possibly has one on rental and let her put 50 rounds through it. I think she (and you) would be impressed.
