It doesn't. They aren't even in the same class. The Glock is a real gun that you can actually enjoy shooting at the range. The LCP is a pocket "get off me gun" that serves little purpose outside of self defense pocket carry.

Which is exactly why the G42 is useless. It gives the size of a range gun, without being concealable as a pocket gun, while being chambered in .380 Auto.
