I'm looking for my next CCW. Trying to decide what to get. What do you guys think about either a Glock 43x or a SIG 365 variant? Or maybe something else I haven't thought about. I think I will place a red dot optic . Any pros and cons would be appreciated, thanks!

Good advice there Granite3!

I tested them both when I was extremely tired multiple times and found I shot the P365 better. When I wasn't tired I shot both of them about the same. BTW I'm a big Glock fan, so I really wanted to shoot better with the G43. I figure I'm most likely going to need to need it when I'm tired after a long day of work and it's getting dark.

So there's no confusion, I was testing the P365 and G43 as I pocket carry.

Both are great guns, however I recommend you try both to see how each handles for you. I had a 43x and a 48. I preferred the 48 over the 43x, but recently sold both as I didn’t shoot either as good as my X Macro.

The P365 line is solid. My father in law has a P365 and it shoots great. I originally had a XL and have slowly converted it to a Macro, which to me is an overall functional package.

Good luck.

I've been carrying the 365 since right after it came out. I can't think of any reason to carry anything else. It shoots extremely well. Trigger is way better than the Glock. I carry it with the 10rd and have the 12rd mags close by. Been a Glock armorer since 1997 and I just love this Sig as an EDC since I retired from LE 4 years ago.

I carry the 365X Macro Tacops and shoot it better than the small Glock pistols. I do like the larger Glocks like the G45 9MM but not for my EDC pistol. I recommend any of the P365 models as a EDC pistol. Good luck with finding the right EDC for you.
