glock 45 acp question

You're better off with an aftermarket 10mm barrel anyway. 10mm Glocks are notoriously inaccurate with the super-hot loadings from Doubletap, Buffalo Bore, Corbon, etc.

I thought they were just inaccurate with the very heavy 10mm loadings due to inadequate twist rate?

Maybe, but I have a hard time believing that's the only thing.. Unless the aftermarket barrels have a tighter twist rate. Maybe it's the type of rifling that they use (polygonal vs land/groove).

Lonewolf USED to make a .45-to-10mm Conversion Barrel, but they did not FUNCTION at an acceptable level of RELIABILITY, according to an e-mail I received from J.R. Sheppard, the "Head Honcho" at LW...Therefore, they DISCONTINUED them...

Storm Lake Machine--and maybe others--STILL make 'em, so...You pays your Money & you takes your chances, I guess...HTH....mikey357
