Who all here is a glock certified armorer? I know with gssf you can take the certification course, but is there much of a benefit to it other than being "certified"?

I will never be an armorer, by being a certified armorer, legally I wouldn't be able to do things to a Glock that I do. Now one upside to bring an armorer, is that you can order parts directly from Glock.

How does being an armorer legally stop you from rocking your glock, and exactly what mods do you do?

I attended "Glock Armorer", "Glock Advanced Armorer", and "Glock Transitional Instructor" training in Smyrna many years ago. My certifications have long since expired but I can still tear a Glock ALL the way down and put it back together which comes in handy from time to time. :)

You learn a few tricks on gun repairs & mods.

Their Instructors workshop is a blast & a bargain.
Around 750-1000 rds. in 2 and a half days for $350.
is that the course that basically focuses on shooting glockss and getting the most out of them? That may be interesting although I probably don't qualify. I personally take mine in to smyrna instead of ordering parts and know my gun in.and out, just curious if there was something that I would be able to really benefit from as a civillian.
