Glock certified armorer question?

From how I understood to take the armorers course you have to have a state license in security, have to be law enforcement POST certified, or fall under certain qualifications...if you google it or go to Glocks website all the info is there....if your career evolves working on or with firearms, particularly Glocks, I could the point in having that cert.

There's not a whole lot to know about Glocks. It's about as simple a design as they come. It would be like getting mechanic certification for a Little Tykes Cozy Coupe.

is that the course that basically focuses on shooting glockss and getting the most out of them? That may be interesting although I probably don't qualify. I personally take mine in to smyrna instead of ordering parts and know my gun in.and out, just curious if there was something that I would be able to really benefit from as a civillian.

Pretty much.... if you take an M&P or Sig to shoot that course they will lock you inside & let everyone else there throw live rounds at you as hard as they can until you drink a whole picture of grey Koolaid and bow down to the portrait of Gaston Glock while chanting, "I shall worship no other deity but you".

The armorers class is really worth it. You will gain a whole new appreciation for the simplicity of the design as will as the genius of it.

If you look at most every modern pistol you will see the Glock influence in their design.

Trigger safeties, polymer frames, striker activated firing pins, the takedown procedure, etc, etc.

Lmfao! Honestly Monte I'm getting a g35 to shoot gssf with and may even find a carry glock so I don't develop confusion. Having shot both m&p and glock, I can't say one is better than the other, but I will ALWAYS love Glocks.
Think that's the first post you've made that made me LOL, everything else is so serious.

Stop. You're gonna make me take the danger course and get an NRA cert just to take the glock course to see what its all about LOL.
