As if someone designing it for them would have any bearing on whether it is reliable or not?

To my knowledge it is their own design. If you have evidence to the contrary, I am all ears, despite it being irrelevant to the discussion at hand...

If the question was Glock or Taurus, over all... like company to company, you give the nod to Glock. But he G2 in particular is a very good pistol and very reliable. It could be the exception for Taurus pistols... doesn’t matter. That gun, is good.

And some of their other new semi autos are solid as well. TH9, is a good one, and most of their revolvers are good.
