S&W has their own issues. Such as the absolute garbage hinged trigger. Obviously Glock is good. Other wise they wouldn't sell as much, which is also the reason there's more "hate" or critics. There's a billion more Glocks out there so of course you'll see negative posts more often than others.
I'm partial to Ruger and S&W but I like anything cool. The only brand I actually dislike is Keltec, the few I've had were trash.

ksg,sub 2000,pmr-30 are pretty cool designs

ive owned a few (p3at,pf-9 and a p11) and they were good pistols

*not saying there arent some lemons out there,but they are better
than what people make em' out to be

I'm sure some models are fine, but after going 0-3 I'm not willing to risk it on them again.

They are like hi points ,an have their place in the gun world
