Glock prefix info needed

I have an early model 19 new in the Tupperware box with a prefix of WNA that I bought when they first came out. What does this indicate? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

So, the serial number starts with WNA?

If it was just 2 letters, I'd say it indicates a Sept/Oct 1991, Gen 2 production date with silver internal parts but the 3 letters usually indicate much later manufactured.

I've sent Glock customer service an email a few times and they have always replied back with at least a month/year of manufacture. Usually within an hour or two.

Did the gen 1’s come in the smaller 19 frame?

Yep, but there were only about 50 or so that made it into the U.S. before the Gen 2s hit the market.
