Glock triggers are terrible

To a competitive shooter a duty pistol is rough. There are alot of great triggers for a glock as there are for many duty pistols. A production Glock is very safe reliable and durable it has 34 or so parts. Its lack of modularity is a part of its success but to most armies and agencies not so much. In the US Armys case cost played a significant role in decisions to pick SIG over Glock. SIG’s P320 was priced at around $500 per unit, with additional modular components costing up to $300. This meant the Army could outfit a soldier with a fully adaptable system for approximately $1,100. In contrast, Glock’s 19X came with a higher base price of $600 and required the purchase of multiple guns to achieve the same versatility, pushing costs to $1,800 per soldier. The financial gap is too substantial to overlook. A comparable contract price for an HK would 800/2200 with practice a production Glock is very accurate much more accurate than the average shooter

I think recent Glock triggers are fine. When I first shot them in the 90s, I thought the triggers were terrible. I am not sure if their triggers are significantly improved in the past 30 years or if I just got used to them, but they seem fine now.

I have been shooting Glocks close to 30 years, I think you get used to them.

The world is full of opinions…. and for me, I believe the best OEM striker trigger I have experienced straight out of the box has been the Walther PPQ and Canik TP9SC Elite…. the Glock 30S was my first experience with owning…. and I’d have to say, it was a disappointment….

I got to shoot a brand new Glock 17 a few months ago and it had the heaviest trigger pull I've ever felt on a striker fired "safe action" type pistol.

It was nothing like the many Glox I have used since the early 1990s until last year.
