Is there a "best place" to purchase go/no go gauges? I'm thinking of attempting a savage rebarrel and from what I gather to get the head space correct they are needed. OR if someone just happens to have some they'd let me use when the time comes that would be good too.

Probably 300 win mag, but I might do a 25-06 first. (Jury is still out on what to try first because I'm not sold on any one specific caliber yet)

I saw midway has a few offerings between Foster and PTG at about 25-30 for each gauge. Anyone have any preference between the two?

Well one last note for the uneducated like my self.

Seems obvious now, but GO/NO GO gauges cover a varity of calibers many times. The same gauge is used for many of the 06 or 08 cases. So the same gauge is used for 25-06,270,&30-06 just like the same gauge is used for .243,.260,7mm-08,&.308.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I hate it when I assume things.
