Gobble Gobble Turkey Cooking

Wife is recuperating from surgery. So I'm staying home with her. We bought a 3 lb turkey breast. I guess we'll do some small portions of everything. Sweet potato souffle, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, ham and rolls. I think we'll be eating at dinner time instead of lunch

We don’t do turkey round here no more…smoke a ham and glaze it while in the smoker. All,the other fixings like corn pudding, green beans, squash casserole, real cornbread dressing.

My Dad spatchcocked one yesterday for the traeger. Deep frying a Cajun injected one today and I smoked a ham last night with a dusting of lanes apple pie seasoning and finished with a brown sugar , butter and fig jalapeño pepper jelly glaze🤌

We're going to the nursing home to be with my MIL and FIL in Alabama. It's their 1st holiday there. I do buy a turkey, but I get one fully cooked because I like Thanksgiving sammiches the day after the best.
