Just an FYI the Blast is this coming weekend up in Emerson. Our Flint River Club group known as the "Festival Forgers" will have our setup out side with the other outside venues. We will be helping folks learn a little about forging with "hands-on" for a small fee - tommahawks (miniatures), RxR Spike knives (small), and horseshoe knives. Kids are our specialty, but must have parent or guardian present. Adults are also welcome to give it a try. Gonna be hot so dress light.
Still recovering from hand surgery so I won't personally be forging, but will be doing the final grinding and finishing. There will be several custom knives on display/sell as well. Stop by if you can and at least say Hi.
