GON forum thinks we are POTTY MOUTHS

I'm jealous of GON's hunting & fishing forums, I hope to one day have active forums on those subjects here.

And to be fair, if someone was trying to start a new site off of this site I would probably censor their name too. :D

As far as bashing let's keep it friendly, if for no other reason than this: If GON didn't do what they did we would not exist at all (and I can't thank them enough for that)

After being banned numerous times I've have not been back in probably over a year or more. Plus when they changed the Swap and Sell I was done for sure.

I agree!!! Without their actions to sensor so many things ODT may have never come about. There are quite a few old GON folks on here. I still go there for some of their forums but live on here! Thanks again "Steve" for the balls to start a site like this!!!!!!

Haven't posted over there in years. I used to post quite a bit. :) Never got banned. How does an adult get 'banned' from a website anyway? Is it really that hard to read and follow the rules of the owners?
In any case, I realize the title of the OP was meant to describe the way the censor works there and not a comment about the language allowed here vs there. It's almost impossible to find a G rated decent sized gun site where it's not a problem if your kids happen to look over your shoulder while viewing the site. Not sure why that is, but it is what it is I guess. I'd imagine GON is still that way so kudos to them for that at least.
When you are operating a site for commercial gain, it makes sense that you don't want to drive traffic to your 'competitors'. Unfortunately, the 'commercial gain' part is what invariably drives sites down the toilet. :(
