KNOWINGLY selling a firearm to an out of state resident is a crime. There’s no law that required you to ask or prove that they’re a resident before you sell. However, although the onus is on the government to prove knowledge in such a case, many want the peace of mind that goes along with the verification.

Got hit with “need to check your DL” at a recent meet, so not having ODT app on my pocket phone.. I figured was something I overlooked in his ad.

Meet went amicably, we both traveled equal distances and the item was as described.

But couple days now not receiving reciprocal feedback, PLUS tonight I re-reading his ad and there was no request nor condition the sale needed a peek at the buyers DL.

Should I send up a request to the big boss and ask that my feedback given simply be removed?
You don’t need the feedback and it’s almost laughable to ask you for Id after all these years and solid transactions. I would just laugh it off and chalk it up to the dumbing down of the Odt.

I have only had 2 members in my entire transaction history not give feedback. Both occasions went perfectly and I immediately gave positive feedback. I asked them after a day or so if they would leave positive feedback, but each chose not to do so. Such is life. Mox nix. Thanks.
