I’ve never understood the bill of sail and drivers license thing. Doesn’t really set me off just a little ridiculous in my
Opinion. Does anyone really think that some illegal gun buyer is handing you a legit DL and traceable info? A DL is one of the easiest things to fake these days.

Hence the GWCL requirement I personally have. Clear conscience for me seeing both and that they're valid.

Just as easy as a DL to counterfeit. Not sure what weight a GWLC has anymore with Constitutional carry. A lot of honest folks don't have one. As long as it's clearly noted in the add that someone wants to see a DL ar GWL then I'll show mine if I want the firearm. But it really doesnt do anything to prevent a thug from getting a weapon.

There's something to be said when I know beyond a reasonable doubt that I am not selling a firearm to a person who could be dangerous, insane, or both. A clear conscience before God is far more important to me than hurting someone's feelings over needing to see it (which my ad ALWAYS says I need to and I will do the same).

I only have it still so that I can a) carry in other states with reciprocity and b) not worry about background checks when buying at my LGS. Plus, never hurts to flash it if I get pulled over and am carrying; got me out of one ticket and another knocked down for speeding.
