As long as it's clearly noted in the add that someone wants to see a DL ar GWL then I'll show mine if I want the firearm. But it really doesnt do anything to prevent a thug from getting a weapon.

Agreed; it needs to be stated upfront and I ALWAYS show mine, even if not requested. Heck, I bought a Glock 19 with a drum mag at the TruPrep Swap Meet and offered to show my GWCL and GA DL to the seller, but he declined needing to see mine. Go figure, but he was a super nice guy.

I do agree to a point. Gun laws may prevent criminals from getting weapons legally or easily, but they don't actually prevent it long-term.

Man, at that point, I would legit just have it transferred at an LGS if I was that worried the person wasn't legit.

Which really means, I wouldn't even deal with them.

Hmm, I got a princess too........At least I got some red vehicles....You know come to think of it, there was couple of trips as the story goes. She had to ride in the back of a truck. I guess one of them was red. They called it the Sanford truck. Some old Ford I guess with that body style

My stupid ass was in back of a Silverado in 1979, with two buddies.

My idiot buddy was driving, ran off onto the right shoulder snatched it back on and rolled it with us on back.

Not a big fan of riding on back nowadays.
