1:8.5 twist? Kind of weird since 1:7 is fast becoming the standard.

Interesting. The 1:8 twist is accurate for supersonic and was the original standard. I don't know how much difference the 1:8.5 Polygonal 5R is but I have seen it shoot MOA with 110 VOR-TX. Is the migration to 1:7 twist for better accuracy with 220 grain subs?

Yea, 220 grains and some of the newer lead cast 245gr's like the 1:7
