What are some of the Authors yall read? I need to find some new ones. Been reading David Baldacci a lot lately.

This dude is very cool. Cryptonomicon is one of the best books I have ever come across. Snow Crash is cool-(It was written in the early 90s-and uses terms such as "avatar" for a person's presence in a virtual computer world-way before anyone knew what the internet was-or what an Avatar was.)

Richard phillips is good- Rho agenda trilogy and its prequels are great! (Neat blend of light sci fi and cool spec ops type stuff.)

Peter F Hamilton has written some cool sci-fi. I liked fallen dragon. (Some of his books are really long-and I'm not into 1600+ page stuff.)


I have read cryptonomicon, snow crash, zodiac, and anathem by Neil stephenson. He is great!

(If you want an author who will make you look at things differently, Neal is the guy!)

I like an author from the 30's - 60's. Rex Stout, author of the Nero Wolfe series. Great detective novels.

I like some of James Patterson's work as well.
