Good Luck Muzzleloaders!

This wind in warren county has me about ready to puke from 20 feet up in this pine. Still no deer while hunting. 3 squirrels and 864 birds. Heard a group of hens tree yelping and heard them fly down, got them on camera down along the creek a few hundred yards from this spot a little bit after.
I don't do wind. For me, it's a waste of time.......

So far I have seen 3 does and a 6 pt this evening. I was only ¾ the way up the tree when the does came through. Sitting on an edge where pines meet a hardwood creekbottom. It sounds like it is raining from the acorns falling off the white and water oaks down there. Something crossed the creek in the water a little bit ago but I never saw what it was.

I dropped my son off at a stand Sunday afternoon and decided to take my bow to a stand where I had been getting a ton of does on camera, nothing but does. I decided I was gonna pop a big one at the feeder and go ahead and get at least a this year deer in the freezer. Had my muzzle loader in backseat, but grabbed the bow instead.

Well, about 6:30, already had a spike been hanging around for about an hour in the plot and around feeder, a 4pt comes out, then a 6pt, then an small 8pt, then a big 8pt. The 6 and small 8 started going at it, put on a good show, meanwhile the big 8 is hanging off to the side and starts pawing the ground, then steps into woodline and starts tearing up trees. Close as he got was 50 yards, if I had only grabbed the muzzleloader instead.

Fun show none the less

Ain't no way I'll ever pick up a bow in place of a gun........
