Old spot near Pine Log in Bartow on private land....on the edge of a holler with a running stream down at the bottom...a 12pt buck was killed exact spot along with a few spikes and tons of does..I missed an 8pt'er there on that exact day....damn, I miss that honey hole!

Always had good luck hunting hardwoods.

I missed a nice buck last weekend due to all that wind blow a limb over into my shot and couldn't get a clean shot on him after that. Heard some hogs.

Lol long story short I haven't got the permit in the mail yet.

First the ups people entered wrong address so that got returned.
Then it got shipped to the right place and the lady at the first desk misplaced it.
I talked to john up there that runs the place. He found it and got my permits ready. I called back 3 days later and talked to john he looked and the lady hadn't mailed it out again. So it was supposed to be mail out that day. So I hadn't still received it yet. They are shutdown cause of the government shutdown. So as far as I know its still sitting up there.
