Fifth time out. Saw exactly 0 the previous 4 times. About 7:10, had my 30-30 sitting beside me when a big ol' doe walked out. By the time I got my gun up and on her, here he came about 20 yards behind. Huge 8-pointer that weighed atleast 200-220 lbs, or so says my two buddies and the land owner. Was about a 100 yard shot and we found him about 30 yards from where I hit him (after searching for over an hour and upwards of a half mile away. Anywho, I'm excited and just wanted to share.
