Aldi recently added this to their meat case. It's quite a bit cheaper than the other skirt steak. I have bought several of them recently and it's really good meat. I made some Carne Asada last week. Tonight I'm going to try something different. I have some Korean marinade for Galbi ribs. I'm going to marinade in that and grill it. My sister wants to experiment and make some Vietnamese fresh spring rolls and she's doing that tonight. Should be a tasty dinner.

The first skirt steak I cooked last night was a decent piece of meat (until I over cooked it, using the same temp and time I did for a much thicker steak a few nights ago!) I will not repeat THAT mistake on the next skirt steak! (Yep, I will come up with another screw up!)

Skirt steak is good for making jerky, isn't it? Going back on carnivore soon and homemade jerky makes a great snack.

I should give that a try as I darn near turned that first one into jerky! Been doing a lot of venison and it too is a good snack (which, when carried away, turns into a meal!)
