It sucks getting old when you look around you and all my Brothers in arms who served in Viet Nam are signing out..As I get older its depressing to get more and more phone calls of another brother passing..I received another phone call this morning that a great Brother with the VNV passed last night..He was a great guy, a brother, helped all he could with our cookouts at the war Veterans homes that we do during the year..There are leaders and followers, He was a true leader!! But one thing I have enjoyed is All Nam Knights and VNV Members have two things in common, Brothers in arms and Helping other Vets in need..Please say a prayer!! Peaty may you rest in peace, you are in the lords kingdom now..His road name was Reaper..DD

Ya Know over many years after every event to honor Our Veterans at both the War Veterans home in Milledgville and Badimaro we would sit down and get reacquainted He loved his Patron...I went today to the Booze shop and picked up multiple bottles the little ones like on the planes and we toasted to him riding his Harley through the pearly gates!! I hope he is there to greet me when my time comes!! With that I am signing off DD

An old Vietnamese man just retired where i work recently.
He fought the Vietcong in his homeland, and became a pow. and has a barcode-ish type tattoo to prove it.
He escaped and sought refuge in America, only to decide to in list in the army and fight again.
Always appreciated vets, but his story really brings it full circle.

The Korean and Vietnam vets get my profound thanks and respect. This country just seemed too busy or too unappreciative to care for what they did. I seek every opportunity to try to instill in my kids what it means to be 18 years old and never come home to start a family or live a full life because you lost part or all of yourself on a nameless hill in some far away land. My condolences sir.
