I recently bought a Ruger 77 compact in 7mm 08. I had not a single round to test fire it. There is hardly any to be found around here.
One great ODTer said he would ship me two boxes at pre covid costs.....and he did.
One gentlemen pm'd me and said he would give me (for free) a box and a half.
One gentleman called me from panama city and bought me two boxes that he would bring his next time in Atlanta and I could pay him then.
Another ODTer pm'd and said he would pick up a couple of boxes where he lived. He said I could pay him later when I picked it up.....whenever that was.
Of course there were ones who wanted 3 dollars a round. I get it I guess.... but not that desperate.
The summary of all this.......great guys on the ODT. Made some good friends here.....never made an enemy here. ( I have quite a few on ignore but never an enemy.
