I currently edc a Canik tp9sf elite in a waistband holder. This was one of my lighter pistols I have and even then at 2lbs 3oz with 15+1 loaded, I am hesitant on the button vertically securing it from breaking free and dropping my gun on a hard sprint if needed.

Im probably going to look out for a much lighter pistol (open to revolvers, but they tend to require more maintenance against the elements for their metal finishes, that is if youd like them in presentable condition)

I mainly carry 4 o'clock, Any advice on a lighter handgun, better holster? Better position of the holster?
(keep in mind I dont always have a belt or belt loop to secure certain types of holsters, especially shoulder sling ones as I am out for a jog)

Im able to search by weight there^ any suggestions on guns to lookout for?

Alien Gear chest rig or a Glock 42 in a belly band holster would by my choice. But rest assured, if you see me running you probably should too. Something is chasing me that either survived getting shot or was not scared of getting shot at!

And if you want a 9mm over a .380, I'd look at a Sig P365.

You gotta gun , you dont need to run lol..

Had to recently jog 3 miles round trip (colder weather = lower CCA on batteries/ more prone to declaring the battery dead) Couldnt get a jump on the car in time and had to leg it, Preferred to keep some iron on me at all times. Unless the recoil of a 9mm is going to propel me closer to my destination or the other guy has the bigger gun, hell yeah i need to run
