Grip tape on pmags

Does anyone that put grip tape in the rectangular part of the pmags know what size to cut the grip tape. I measured it and did trial and error on size, but I am wasting too much tape trying to get it just right. Just curious if anyone had any tips or tricks. Thanks.

Lay paper over the mag and go over it with a pencil back and forth real fast so you get like an imprint and use it for a stencil.
