Gun Ban Question

I don't believe they can legally pass a law to confiscate anything. There is a clause or two in the constitution which prohibits Ex Post Facto laws. In other words they cannot pass a law that makes something you did (or own) illegal if it was legal when you purchased it. Even if they can pass a so-called "assault weapons ban" (Which I doubt they can) I am pretty sure that anything you already own would be grandfathered in just like the last time. They would like to do a lot of things that they cannot do. Thankfully we have a constitution that prohibits much of the nonsense you keep hearing about.

It doesn't. Bump stock ban was unconstitutional and there are several law suits about that in the works now. If it ever gets to the SCOTUS it should be overturned.

I purchased a Honey Badger SBR from a local FFL and currently it’s in ATF jail for another 5-10 months. So my question is, if this gun ban goes through the senate, will it be confiscated?

they want everyone to form1/form4 everything. I THINK you are good as you are in compliance with the regime. I have 2 cans in jail right now...not too worried.

It was hysterics. Technically, it was one shot per trigger pull no matter how short or fast. It met the ATF requirements of a semi-auto... what will they do next? Ban rubber bands or belt loops on your pants?

The stupid thing to my way of thinking is that they banned bump stocks but you can still buy a binary trigger which works much better than any bump stock ever did. Go figure. I think DT was trying to appease the left and get them to shut up if even only for a little while.

The left uses any gun scenario as a pretext to try and ban something, anything. It's how they roll. They are incremental and relentless and not one word of what they say or promise can be believed.

I didn't see anything in the bill that mentioned internet sales. Maybe I missed it.
