Gun shop who buys collections

Thanks for the replies. I have been getting rid of guns that I don't shoot and no longer desire to be a collector. I have a few high-end and rare guns that would probably sell better within a shop. I may try to post them on GunBroker. I need to read up more on the process. I am in no hurry, but I also don't have tons of free time.

I watched the store sell a consigned gun for $1200 that they had a $600 consignment payment to seller.

These are the snakes I speak of!
Yeah. Shop owner and I had a couple of words on that transaction, as I asked him how he felt that was a fair transaction to sellers best interest?
His reply was simply that he is not in business to represent anyone’s interest but his own.

I get it.
Free markets and capitalism..
But I think a flat rate %pct represents both consignor and dealer both with transparency being the most importance.
My opinion

Depending on what we are talking about, I may be interested. I'm always looking for good used guns. I can be reached by PM. Thanks.
